Niagara Bike-a-thon - today is the day!

The day has finally arrived and it looks like a beautiful day for a 52 km bike ride down the Niagara Park Way (the "down" part by way of encouragement).

We are expecting 400 riders!

For smooth registration, please be prepared - read and follow all information in your registration package.

  • Make sure that your money is collected beforehand and sealed in your package envelope
  • Complete all information on the front of the envelope
  • Are you entering the draw for a free bike?
Those cycling the full 52km will meet and register at Mather Arch Park in Fort Erie. Registration will be open at 10am for as long as it takes to process you all.

  • To get to Mather Arch Park Take the QEW to Fort Erie
  • exit at Central Ave. and take Central Ave. south to Lakeshore Road
  • Turn let on Lakeshore and the first thing you come to is Mather Circle. We'll be there.
Those cycling the shorter 22km route will now be able to register directly at King's Bridge Park in Chippawa. Registration in Chippawa will begin at 11am. There is ample parking for your vehicles there.

  • Exit the QEW at McLeod Rd. in Niagara Falls, and travel East to the Falls
  • McLeod Rd. wil become Marineland Parkway, and then Portage Rd.
  • Keep on until you get to Chippawa, then turn Left on to Macklem Street.
  • Macklem will almost immediately become Niagara Parkway.
  • King's Bridge Park is the right hand (river) side
Yes, after the picnic, the shuttle buses will take drivers back to King's Bridge park in Chippawa as well as Mather Arch Park in Fort Erie. From there you can drive back to MacFarland Park to pick up your bikes and families.
